Oil Booms and Carpets
Our EARTHTONE® booms are manufactured by needle punching a copolymer non woven Olefin fabric into a high loft felt that will absorb many times its own weight in oil.
These Booms can be put through a wringer and reused several times; allowing the oil to be recycled as well as the fabric.
See diagram below.
In addition to the booms and carpet, Bradley also maunfactures a SPIRAL® h20 geotube that can be either filled with water or sand for ballast and water to complete the elevation.
See diagrams and pictures.
EARTHTONE® oil logs can be manufactured in sizes from 3 feet to 15 feet wide and any circumference. Each can be joined together to make a continuous chain or circle.
EARTHTONE® carpets come in widths up to 15 feet and any length. Both products have a minimum of 16 ounces per square yard of polymer.
